Application submission
- at the Faculty (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, 119 Calea Aradului, 300645 Timisoara, Romania)
Candidates have to prepare 2 files:
- one for the Ministry (see CNRED instruction - https://www.cnred.edu.ro/en/recognition-studies-european-citizens-admission-undergraduate-studies-in-Romania)
- one for the Faculty (see the following requirements):
Required documents
1. Application form (EU citizens) clik here;
2. Proof of completion of secondary school (high school Diploma/Certificate) - copy and certified translation (original) in Romanian language (certified by either a notary or an authorized translator)
3. Proof of completion (transcript of the records) for ALL years of high-school completed abroad, with subjects and obtained marks/points - copy and certified translation (original) in Romanian language (certified by either a notary or an authorized translator)
4. Identification paper - copy:
- passport / identity card,
- proof of legal name change - copy and certified translation (original) in Romanian language (certified by either a notary or an authorized translator)
5. Other documents, if necessary
- Example: provisional certificate of Maturita from Italy, Pruebas de Aptitud para el Acceso a la Universidad, Calificación Apto from Spain; eligibility certificate issued by Verket för högskoleservice from Sweden, SAT/ACT scores from USA, copy and certified translation in Romanian, except for the documents issued in English, French, Spanish, Italian
- Example: Foreign citizens, family members of Romanian citizens, holders of a temporary residence permit, must submit the proof either of an employment contract or of unemployment status in order to benefit, according to the law, of equal treatment as Romanian citizens, regarding the study enrolment (OUG no. 194/2002 on the Regime of Aliens in Romania, republished, art. 80 paragraph (3), lit. B) and c))
6. Birth certificate - copy and certified translation (original) in Romanian language (certified by either a notary or an authorized translator)
7. Health certificate - copy and certified translation in Romanian, except for the documents issued in English, French, Spanish, Italian
8. Copy of the 100 Euro receipt – file processing fee (150 euro for those who apply for both lines)
9. B2 English proficiency Certificate
10. 3 colour photographs ¾ centimeters.
11. Preparatory year diploma or certificate of proficiency in Romanian, for those applying for Romanian line.

Candidates have to prepare 2 identical files: the application folder for the University, and the application folder requiring the delivery of the Letter of Acceptance addressed towards the Ministry.
Required documents
1. 2 original Application forms (non-EU) with the candidate photo on them clik here;
2. Proof of completion of secondary school (high school Diploma/Certificate);
3. Proof of completion (transcript of records) for ALL years of high-school completed abroad;
4. Identification papers:
- passport
- Identity card where the residence must be clearly specified,
- proof of legal name change, if applicable.

6. Medical certificate (in an international language) proving that the person which is to be enrolled at the faculty does not suffer from contagious diseases or other illnesses that are incompatible with the future profession
ALL these 8 documents MUST be sent in authenticated copies and certified translation (ORIGINAL) in Romanian language!!!

THE OPENING OF THE 2022-2023 UNIVERSITY YEAR WILL HAPPEN ON 03.10.2022, 10.00 AM, IN THE AULA MAGNA "IULIAN DRĂCEA" OF THE UNIVERSITY OF LIFE SCIENCES „KING MIHAI I OF ROMANIA” FROM TIMISOARA.
IN 03.10.2022, 12.00, IN THE ROOM 045 POP PAVEL, BUILDING CLC-HC, OF VETERINARY MEDICINE FACULTY, MEETING WITH THE FIRST YEAR ENGLISH LINE.
ADMISSION RESULTS - 2022
In attention of candidates of the English section
Results will be published on 27 July 2022, around 18:00 (Romanian time).
Candidates who have participated in the admission contest, were accepted and have already confirmed their attendance at another University or Faculty are kindly asked to let us know at the following e-mail address: sorin.morariu@fmvt.ro, about their situation in order to avoid further misunderstandings in the process of admission from our faculty!!!
The candidates that have been declared admitted at FVM Timișoara must confirm by paying the enrollment tax (31 Euro for UE and 100 Euro for NON-UE ) and the sum of 3000 Euro (the first part of the tuition fee, which will not be reimbursed in case the student changes his mind in the meantime) by 29 July 2022, 14:00 (Romanian time). The proof of payment will be transmitted on e-mail to: sorin.morariu@fmvt.ro
After this date, the vacancies will be completed with candidates found on the waiting list, according to their grade averages. They will be announced by e-mail subsequently and they must confirm in the same manner as stated above until 3rd August 2022, 14:00 (Romanian time). If vacancies are left even after this stage, they will be set aside for the session that will take place in September 2022.
The second payment (the difference of 2500 Euros) must be paid by 30 September 2022, 14:00 (Romanian time).
The candidates who have confirmed their attendance must have the documents necessary for the completion of their file upon them on 1st October 2022 (the beginning of the university year): original and translated copies of their Baccalaureate Diplomas, Releve des notes (where it exists), transcripts of grades from ALL high school years and of the birth certificate as well as the following documents, in ORIGINAL: Baccalaureate diploma, releve des notes (where it exists) and the transcripts of records from all high school years. Non-completion of the file with the solicited documents attracts the expulsion of the student from the faculty!
